Fitzpatrick’s Travelers Rest B & B offers the perfect northwest experience! Situated on the Mima prairie near a wildlife preserve, this comfortable bed and breakfast has a magnificent view of Mount Rainier in the east and Washington’s rolling Black Hills in the west. The inspiring sunrises and sunsets from these natural views will take your breath away.

When you arrive, you’ll enter an inviting mission-style sitting room with a warm oak fireplace – the perfect place to enjoy a hot cup of tea and fresh, homemade cookies!

Inspired by their love of travel, Matthew and Jane named their two exquisite guestrooms the Navigator Room and the Explorer Suite.

The Explorer Suite (right) faces east with glorious sunrises and a picturesque view of Mount Rainier. This suite is spacious with three rooms including a bedroom with king-sized bed (or two twin beds), a full bath, and a sitting room with TV, comfortable recliners, small table and chairs, and a computer desk.

The Navigator Room (left) faces west, displaying fantastic sunsets and a view of the Black Hills. For your comfort, the room has a queen-sized bed, dresser, TV, computer desk and a full bath.

You’ll continue through the hallway to a handcrafted custom oak staircase that ascends to the second level where your cozy guestroom awaits.

Just south of Olympia, Washington, Fitzpatrick’s Travelers Rest B&B is centrally located to many of the attractions of the Pacific Northwest, making easy and enjoyable day trips a highlight of your stay. Driving two hours or less in any direction will bring you to a plethora of entertaining and relaxing Activities. Brochures and coupons are available throughout the year.

Jane and Matthew Fitzpatrick are your hosts. Matthew is a New Yorker and Jane is a Washingtonian, so Travelers Rest is literally where East meets West. Jane is a writer and Matthew is a woodworker, both working from home. They’ve always enjoyed traveling and weaving a good yarn over a cup of coffee with people they meet along the way. So they remodeled their craftsman home (Matthew’s the craftsman), and opened a bed and breakfast to accommodate travelers looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to rest in the Olympia area.
